This outback tour begins heading north through the historical wine region of Clare Valley before reaching the Southern Flinders Ranges which offers jaw-dropping views of the Spencer gulf. Here is the first night of camping on the outback tour amongst the wilderness at Stony Creek. The next day’s scenery change is difficult to comprehend, travelling into the red horizon as you approach Coober Pedy and exploring the famous underground town where you may even find your own magical opal! Meet some local Kangaroo’s at Josephine’s orphanage before sleeping in an underground hostel. The outback tour then makes its way to the majestical Uluru (Ayers Rock), watching the sunset over the huge monolith and soak in the beauty of the outback. Admire the Aboriginal rock art and learn about the culture of the Indigenous people of the area at the Cultural Centre. Tie up your trekking boots and hike around Uluru and the amazing rock formations that make Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Cool off in the surreal Garden of Eden at Kings Canyon before arriving back into Alice Springs.
